I Will Honour Christmas In My Heart

I will honour Christmas in my heart,
and try to keep it all the year.
I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future.
The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me.
I will not shut out the lessons that they teach!

~ Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

WELCOME TO MY CHRISTMAS BLOG!!

WELCOME TO MY CHRISTMAS BLOG!!

Christmas is my favorite Holiday and my favorite time of year!

I go all out decorating our small townhouse for all Holidays but especially Christmas!

Every room in our home has a different Christmas Theme and Color Scheme!!

I prove that you do not have to live in a large home to have several Trees, over 20 in all shapes and sizes!!

The majority of my Christmas decorations are placed in the same spot every year and I know that this is not what most Decorator's care for but it is like seeing old friends again when I decorate each year for Christmas.......

I do try to add a few new things and change up things a bit but for the most part, these decorations are part of my Christmas traditions and I will not change them until I can no longer decorate like I do......

This blog is dedicated to All Things Christmas!!

After Christmas Buys Put to Use, January Rudolph Day!!!

Welcome to my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas!!

I am posting this on the 25th of January, Rudolph Day!!
The 25th of each month is considered Rudolph Day by many and I hope to do a post relating to Christmas, here on my Christmas Blog ,each month!!

I want to Thank Marilyn, over at Marilyn's Treats, and all the hosts of the Over the Moon Party for featuring my post, New Christmas Buys for Christmas 2018, from last week's party!!
Thanks so much, Marilyn and all the hosts of this lovely party!!

Please stop by and link up to this great party!!

In this post, I want to share a few more of the things that we bought after Christmas and that I plan on using to decorate for other Holidays and Seasons and not for Christmas!!

Some I have already used in my Winter decorating......

I bought these ornaments in Walmart after Christmas at 50% off for $1.00 each.......
I have already used them to decorate my Winter Cardinal Tree in the Kitchen.....
Click HERE if you missed that post on my regular Blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog.......

And I have also used them here.........
I will be posting about this area in the Kitchen soon.......

Joe did some shopping after work yesterday in Wegman's and he found this tea pot on Clearance for $6.00!!
It is part of the Holiday Harlequin Collection of dishes from Wegman's that I used to decorate my Kitchen Hutch with for Winter.......
Joe had already bought the Salt and Pepper Shaker set on the left side of this shelf for $4.00 after Christmas.....
I love my new tea pot!!
I also shared these ornaments that Joe bought in Bed, Bath and Beyond.......
This is the garland above the counter bar in the Kitchen, decorated for Winter........
I will also be sharing more of this garland in an upcoming post over on my regular blog.....
I also bought these ornaments in Walmart for $1.00 each.....
I used them to decorate the pass through in our Kitchen for Winter.....
Again, I will be sharing this in a future post.......

Before Christmas, I showed you this  Cardinal Lantern that I bought in Big Lot's, using a coupon .....
And I also showed you this snow globe ornament that Joe bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond, using a coupon........
Both of these items found a place in my Winter Cardinal display that I set up in the desk area of my Kitchen Hutch......
Click HERE if you missed that post........

I also shared that I bought this red burlap ribbon in Bon Ton........
I made bows out of it to decorate our front porch for Winter......
Click HERE if you missed that post........

Also, before Christmas, I showed you this owl.......
And these birds......
Bought at Gabes.......

They are now part of this Winter display on top of the china cupboard in the Den.......
You can see that the birds match 2 other bird figurines that I already had!!
Again, you will see more of this in a future post.....

I bought this flocked evergreen wreath in Walmart after Christmas for $5.00........
I decorated it with cinnamon scented pine cones that Joe picked up on Clearance in Bed, Bath and Beyond and a bow made out of white deco mesh ribbon.......
It is now hanging in the Den which is decorated for Winter.....

This is my Winter Tree in the Den........
Okay, you know what I am going to say...... I will be sharing more of this Tree in a future post......

Joe bought these 2 boxes of ornaments in Bed. Bath and Beyond......
They looked like crystalized snow and ice to me so I added them to the decorations on my Winter Den Tree.....
I already shared these cloche ornaments that Joe also picked up in Bed, Bath and Beyond after Christmas.......
I also used them to decorate my Winter Den Tree......
These ornaments were bought in Walmart after Christmas.....
These butterflies and dragonfly were only 76 cents each......
I will be using them to decorate my Summer Tree in the Craft Room.......
I also bought these sea horse ornaments......
These sea horse ornaments were bought in Walmart for $1.00 each
And these were bought in Bon Ton for $1.80 each.......
I sent Joe back to buy whatever was left and he bought 2 more sea horse ornaments......
They will be added to the decorations on my "Under the Sea" Tree in the Living Room during the Summer.......
Joe then went to Big Lot's and found these for 75 % off.......
They were $2.00......

 And these, also for $2.00.......
And these for $1.00 a pack.......
I will probably use the red and gold birds on my Living Room Valentine's Tree and the silver ones in the Powder Room........
He also had a coupon for 20% off which took the price down even lower!!!

Joe also went back to Bed. Bath and Beyond........
These were now down to $2.00 each.......
They are heavy pink mercury glass ornaments........
He bought 6 of them......

They are too heavy to hang on a Tree so I thought that they would look good here for Christmas.......
And maybe even use them in a Valentine's display.....

I also bought these at Bon Ton for $1.80 each......
Not sure where I will be using these but there are multiple possibilities.......
Joe found these dishes in J.C. Penney's.......
Yes, a set of Pfaltzgraff  Winterberry dishes.......

They were $140, marked down 70% to $42!!!!
And Joe had a coupon!!
Taking them down to $37.84!!!!!

Saving $104.30!!!
Now what am I going to do with these??????
I thought they would be perfect for the Basket that I usually make up for the raffle at our church's Harvest Tea!!
It is a set of 4!!
I will pick up a set of 4 place mats and maybe some napkins to complete the basket......

I think that will make a nice basket for the raffle , don't you?????

I hope you enjoyed seeing that you do not have to use your after Christmas buys for Christmas and that you can use them to decorate for other Holidays and Seasons.......

Please stop by my regular blog, Debbie-Dabble Blog, where I will be continuing to post my Winter and Valentine decor......

And I hope that you will return to visit here for next Rudolph Day on February 25th when I hope to post Part 2 in my series of Where DO I Put It all?, sharing our attic with you all!!!!!!
